In recruiting new sales channel partners or resellers, how much and what type of evaluation do you need to ensure a company is a suitable partner?

It depends on the risk. It depends on the effort you are putting in to onboard and the expectations you have from that partner.

If you’re putting a big investment in a partner, you need more evaluation to make sure it makes sense. If you’re enabling remotely to get started within hours, then less evaluation is needed. You’re going to validate as you work together.
